The IYF Country Team in Sudan represents the International Youth Federation at the national level, supporting the development and implementation of programmes, partnerships and initiatives that advance youth leadership, participation and sustainable development.

Led by the IYF Representative, the Country Team works with young people, public institutions, civil society, academia and other partners to identify priorities, strengthen cooperation and connect national action with IYF’s wider regional and global network.

The Team also supports the development of IYF’s Country Programme in Sudan, helping ensure that future initiatives are nationally relevant, partnership-driven and responsive to the aspirations of young people.

The IYF Country Team in Sudan is composed of Sudanese nationals, bringing together young professionals with expertise across youth development, women’s empowerment, environment, innovation, sport and communications. This national composition helps ensure that IYF’s work is informed by local knowledge, perspectives and an understanding of the opportunities and priorities facing young people in Sudan.

The thematic Assistants provide technical and programme support within their respective areas, helping translate IYF’s global mandate into locally relevant initiatives and opportunities for young people.
